Association of Textile - Clothing – Leather Industry
Association of Textile - Clothing – Leather Industry represents corporation of enterprises and organizations in the textile, leather and clothing industry. Economic potential TCL industry can be expressed by the value of production of app. CZK 70 billion and more than 90 thousand employees altogether. Consequently, it represents a significant part of the national economy of the Czech Republic
The main role of the Association in the sense of its statute is to represent and to protect the interests of its members in the Czech Republic and abroad as well. Furthermore it develops relevant organizational activities in the sphere of economy, commerce, production, etc. This activity comprises also contacts and cooperation with analogous organizations and institutes abroad
ATOK is the largest corporation of textile, clothing and leather enterprises in the Czech Republic. It represents majority share of production of these industries
ATOK is the directive forum for the discussion and formulation of common viewpoints and claims of the textile, clothing and leather producers in the relation towards of the government and the trade unions
ATOK is the proper place of commercial, economic and technical information interchange among members
ATOK is the centre of elaboration, exchange and providing with statistical information relating to the textile, clothing and leather industries in the Czech Republic and abroad
ATOK is the spokesman of the Czech producers in their relations to the national organizations concerned with the problems of the textile, clothing and leather industries
ATOK is the partner of other professional associations in the Czech Republic and also at the international level
ATOK facilitates direct commercial relations between Czech and foreign companies
ATOK is a member of EURATEX and ITMF
