INTRODUCTION

Dear Readers, Dear Business Partners,

We thank you for the interest shown in the Czech Textile and Apparel Industry. This project could be accomplished on the basis of a grant or a payback financial relief having its source in the public funds controlled by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. As to its extent, the companies register particulars and the international comparability on the terms of the Prodcom nomenclature, it is the first presentation of its kind of Czech manufacturers, businesses, research institutes and other organizations in the Czech Republic.

In the Main Menu there are three methods available for the search of companies. The first option is to choose the SEARCH link which incorporates the Help menu. Terms are searched according to the rules for logical operations covered by the manufacturing and non-productive programs of the companies and organizations.

The interactive list of companies and organizations can be used as another alternative – choose the link marked COMPANIES AND ORGANIZATIONS.

The last method of searching information is using the three individual links marked MANUFACTURING BUSINESSES AND COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS, RESEARCH INSTITUTES AND SCHOOLS, COMMERCIAL AND ADVISORY ORGANIZATIONS. These links offer interactive lists of pertinent activities. After clicking to select one of those, information is displayed referring to companies and organizations who carry in their program the very activity you have chosen.

Information on any particular company or organization includes their e-mail address and Web Site details which, once clicked on, make it possible for you to send your e-mail message or view their Web Pages automatically. Each type of activity under the MANUFACTURING BUSINESSES AND COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS link incorporates an indication precising its primary status – manufacturing or business. The standard setting of your PC Internet Browser makes it possible to print and export data.

The Association member companies are shown with a colored background and the ATOK logo (the Association of the Textile, Clothing and Leather Industries).

Each company entry shows coloured bars on its side.
The yellow bar indicates that the organization´s assortment can be found in the first section of the register – MANUFACTURING BUSINESSES AND COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS. The red bar is used to mark the COMMERCIAL AND ADVISORY ORGANIZATIONS category, the green bar refers to RESEARCH INSTITUTES AND SCHOOLS.
